note my life in English

14 May 2007
This is my first time to use English to record my life time on blog. Before this, I deem the Chinese is the best words to description every thing . Life’s track record sometimes needs the artistic conception, Chinese words can do this, but English can’t. Alas, maybe it’s cause my English words is poor…
I had two blogs before there, one is for my daughter, and other is for me. But now I’ll begin this one .
Yesterday is Mother’s day; I and My daughter sunny went to her grandma’s home. We bring some presents to grandma. Grandma is a good cook, she always make all kinds of foods to wait us come. She is the typical mother of trad China, hardworking, goodness, and do everything for her children, just like my mother, I love them.
After lunch, we were come to live room, we talk here and watch TV. Just then, a program catched hold of us. SCTV-6 are have the match for children. We asked Sunny would want to join it, she said ‘yes’, So I called to the organizer and plan to take her going.

it's meaning some feeling in life need more abstract words, just like the poem. I know chinese how to describe it, but I don't know how to use English to do that.

by the way, 我不懂is "wo bu dong" :)

It is a good idea to use English to record our life time, I used to do this thing several years ago, but I did not persist the study of English,

I passed CET_6 15 years ago, and both of my CET_4 and CET_6 score were very excellent, but now I do not have enough time to improve my English words and expressions, after a lapse of several years, I try to look for them and hope them to come back to my mind, but I found they had gone away, it is so interesting that I ask myself that why I did not keep on useing my English? what way did I choose?

From now on, we meet a good teacher, he knows how to teach different student, I hope all team member to try our best to study again, let's encourage each other.
time is gone, let's begin again...

I can’t agree with this. I think English poems also content a lot of mean in simple words, just like Chinese. In my point of view, English uses more trope to visualize a thing. On the contrary, Chinese sentences are more connotative that makes you image the scene which is so called artistic conception. Therefore, people without some kind of cultural background can’t understand the images that the author want to give us. Further more, different people with different experiences and different knowledge may have different understanding of one Chinese sentence.
I like Chinese words, they are so beautiful and refined. And I also like to read the technical article written in English which I know exactly what is being discussed and how to deal with it without misunderstanding. hehe

Mike,I ever insisted on writing my diary in english for about one year to improve my english in my senior high school period, but I gave up later...I also passed CET_6 16 years ago and joined the TOEFL testing 9 years ago,but my oral english isn't ideal always,I think the main reason is lack of usage environment, now we have good condition to improve it,as you said,we should begin again..

Squall,I think you misunderstand sandy as she has explained her meaning again in above comment as below:
-----
