Since I have studied English, I feel I'm looking up steps so slow. I always want to find it's reason, and now I know it's why.
First one is the vocabulary. I remember the words repeat and repeat, but when I go ahead I forget it. so, if I have kingsoft dictionary, I can writting in English, if I havn't it, I just like a illiteracy. Today， Frances told me if I memory one words to seven times, I can remember it ever. She said she didn't know why, but this is her experience. I will try to do it on this way, because Frances is succeed on it.
The second one is the grammar. I can't know how to use so much kind of tense,part of speech,etc.
And the third one is thinking in Englis, this is the key point. Frances have a example for this: when she ask somebody who looks no marriage, She will say:"are you single?"（你是否单身）,but chinese think usually use "are you not marriage"(你是否未婚）. They have so much difference, but I am used to it long time. It's difficult to changes if it's became a inertia.

I haven't added my comment in the blog for a time.
There are only 2 status in Euro&Amer countries (Single & Married).
In China, we often fills in the two status in application forms.
If you want to know other's privacy. you can get the other status (Never married & divorced) from Single status.
I think the reason,
In our past work, we needn't listen and speak English . As a software developer,I usually need read many english technical data, generally there is no problem . Even if I come to a word I don't know, I will consult a dictionary.
Rome is not build in one day. To learn English well We need to take a lot of effort ,especially for me . :( I think I haven't natural gift for language ,I have live in Chengdu for twelven years , but I can't speak Sichuan dialect. Generally I prefer thinking to speaking.
Many words, I know them by sight, but not by hear.
Many sentences, I know them by read, but not by written. :(
Now because there are many works and other things, I haven't many time to study English, What should I do?
I agree with Sandy.Indeed we can use so many different ways to express our opinion with our culture. I.e. we usually to say Hello to our acquaintance by this way:do you have lunch?Just to show the polite way or say hello to each other.The same mean when we speak in English just like:How are you?So sometimes those different ways or cross-culture make us so confused.
Habits,Cross-culture are very difference.
